What to Expect on your First Visit
When you walk on the Poarch of the church, you will be greeted with a warm "Welcome!" and handed a bulletin which includes our church upcoming events, order of service, a greeting from our pastor and his family, and our church contact information. This just means that we are happy to see, and want you to know about all our activities! It's a lot to remember, so don't worry! We don't expect you too! We have done the work for you so you have it all available and know where you can find it!
If you have reserved a seat ahead of time, we will have someone usher you there. If you have children in tow, we'll ensure everyone is in the right place to enjoy the Sunday School time.
During our Sunday School time we offer coffee and refreshments. We call this time "Coffee and Jesus." It is just a gift we offer to make your visit more enjoyable and refreshing as you learn the Word of God. The best part, IT'S FREE!
What to wear? What you wear depends on what you feel comfortable in. We have a verity of different styles! Some dress business casual, some wear blue jeans and a polo or a t-shirt. Some wear shorts and a polo or t-shirt. We are just happy you have decided to join us!
Coffee and Jesus (Sunday School)
Coffee and Jesus is just another name for our Sunday School which is a small group Bible Study under the guidance of a leader. We meet each Sunday Morning at 10am and spend time studying the word of God together while enjoying a fresh cup of hot coffee and light breakfast refreshments.
Our Coffee and Jesus sessions cover a wide variety of Biblical topics that are relevant for the time we're living in and change quarterly. If you would like a copy of the Bible Study guide, we will have one ready for you.
We even have classes for your teens and kiddos that are safely led by volunteers who have underwent and passed a background check for working with children. They'll love making new friends and memories learning with others their age! We'll help you get then checked in when you arrive!
Worship Service
Our main worship service begins at 11am every Sunday and usually last between 60-75 minutes.
Our main service consist of prayer, praise, and a nice blend of music of both hymns and contemporary tunes. Most importantly, our music is Gospel centered and will encourage you towards worship of the King, whether that is done with a guitar, keys, piano or all of the above. Our service also consist of a timely relevant message from Pastor Lloyd.
What translation of the Bible do we use?
Pastor Lloyd preaches and teaches from the New King James Bible (NKJV), but he also encourages you to read from whatever translation you are comfortable with.
What about my kids?
On Sunday mornings, we have a nursery staffed with volunteers who have under went a throe background check for working with children ready to care for your children ages 0-4 years old from message until the end of the service.
We offer Children's Church for pre-k-3rd grade that will dismiss just before the message. Our Children's Church is also staffed with volunteers who have underwent a throe background check for working with children. Children's Church runs from the message till the end of the service and teaches the Bible to them on a fun level that they can comprehend.
Building Life Around Sound Truth (BLAST)- On Wednesday's we offer a fun and exciting way for children to learn in our Christian Life Center the Word of God by volunteers who have underwent a throe background check for working with children. BLAST begins at 6pm Wednesday Nights with a dinner for all ages. YES! Including adults! Then from 6:30-7:30 the adults and kids break away for a hour to learn the word of God!
Every Second Saturday we host an event called KOZ for boys ages 8-18. KOZ is centered around hunting, fishing, and camping while teaching young boys how to be boys while learning Biblical truths! Check out our KOZ page to learn more about KOZ!
